IPM Be’er Tuvia is a power station works using combined-cycle energy with gas and steam turbines to generate 451 MW of power (about 3.5% of Israel’s electricity consumption).
The Construction works of the station began in 2018 by Siemens Energy, and were estimated in about 2 billion ILS. The station is generating and selling energy in the market from 2021.
Most of IPM’s electricity is sold to the IEC (Israel Electric Corporation) and to end-user clients, from a range of sectors.
