The Energy Center at the Government Center in Jerusalem marks a significant milestone as Israel's pioneering Build-Operate-Transfer (B.O.T) project. This project encompasses the design, construction, and operation of energy production and supply systems catering to government ministries in Jerusalem over a 20-year period.
Within the scope of this project, there are integrated cooling and heating systems designed to serve the Government Center, electricity distribution infrastructure, a contingency generator system for emergency power generation, and an additional 5,000 square meters of office space. The concessionaire is tasked with the responsibilities of providing heating, cooling, and electricity distribution services to various government ministries. Furthermore, they are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the designated office spaces and the aforementioned systems.
