The IDF Training Center is a project for the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the new Israel Defense Forces (IDF) training campus, strategically situated in the Negev region. This project involved the relocation of numerous combats supporting IDF training bases from the center of Israel, making it the largest of its kind undertaken in recent years within the country.
Having reached completion in 2016, the IDF Training Center has been in full operation since 2017. It spans 250 hectares, 250,000 square meters of built-up areas, meticulously designed to cater to approximately 11,000 soldiers, ensuring efficient operations over a span of more than 20 years.
The IDF Training Center houses an array of facilities and installations, including modern training classrooms, dining facilities capable of accommodating around 10,000 diners, dormitories, as well as computerized training facilities featuring advanced simulators. Furthermore, the center incorporates a Sports Center and an events and conferences hall.
