
25 years tender for the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of the new Israel Defense Forces (IDF) training campus in the Negev, to which several combat supporting IDF training bases were transferred to from the center of Israel to the Negev. The new training center is the largest
project of its kind undertaken in Israel in recent years and the first undertaken by the Ministry of Defense as part of a national scheme to transfer several IDF bases to the south of Israel.
The training center is comprised of 250,000 square meters of built-up areas over an area of 250 hectares, designed to accommodate approximately 11,000 soldiers, and to operate for a period of over 20 years. Facilities and installations of the IDF include, among others, modern training classes, dining facilities to approximately 10,000 diners, advanced, comfortable dormitories, computerized training facilities (simulators), Sports Center, events and conferences hall.
Construction works have completed on 2016.
